About Westing AS

Westing was established in 1981 and has its head office and warehouse at Eggesbønes in Herøy municipality. The company has sales representatives and inspectors along the entire Norwegian coast, and in 2021 they also established a branch in Denmark. Westing has a partnership agreement with Akzo Nobel, which makes them their exclusive representative for International® Marine paints in Norway. Through this collaboration, Westing has grown to become the largest paint distributor for Akzo Nobel in Europe.

In addition to paints and surface treatment products, Westing offers consulting assistance, inspection services, specification preparation, as well as courses and the Westing Paint School training program to ensure efficient and economical paint maintenance for the customer.

Digitalization and optimization

Westing AS has experienced strong growth in recent years, which has led to an increased need for better control over inventory and logistics processes. By implementing InStock WMS, the company ensures more precise inventory management, reduced incorrect picking and faster order processing.
