We can present FLOYD.no as a new customer and user of InStock, integrated with their ERP solution Trimit and the e-commerce platform Magento.

FLOYD is a family business with over 35 years of experience in the Norwegian market. The brand produces and sells clothes, shoes and accessories for women of all ages from over 40 company-owned and franchised FLOYD stores throughout Norway, as well as the online store FLOYD.no. From the head office and warehouse in Holmestrand, goods are shipped to B2B and B2C customers throughout the country.

Since its inception in 2011, the FLOYD.no online store has grown from a small, unknown store to a well-known and established player in online fashion in 2020 with over 40 well-known brands in addition to our own brand. FLOYD.no currently employs 25 enthusiasts who do everything from producing marketing materials, images, catalogs, shipping bags and everything else an online store needs from scratch, to picking and packing orders, handling customer inquiries and returns.

After several years of strong growth, they saw the need to optimize their warehouse operations in terms of accuracy and efficiency to cope with the increasing pressure. They have invested heavily in new systems and tools to streamline warehouse operations and facilitate continued growth.

After looking at several different solutions for handheld scanners for use in warehouses, the choice fell on InStock from iSYS. InStock seemed to offer an optimal mix of desired functionality baked into an intuitive and user-friendly interface. The fact that iSYS is a local supplier with offices and developers a stone's throw away from our own has also been a nice advantage.

We have chosen to implement InStock in several phases - the first phase deals with returns processing. The transition to processing returns with InStock and handheld scanners has reduced the workflow considerably, from being handled by three different people over several days, to being done by a single person in minutes. The intuitive interface of the app has made the rollout of the scanners an almost seamless transition, where the need for training was minimal.

No roll-out of a new system goes 100% smoothly, and there have been challenges and problems along the way. Fortunately, we have had an extremely skilled team at iSYS behind us, who have reacted with lightning speed and developed good solutions as problems have arisen. Today, we have a solid solution in InStock that has streamlined returns processing considerably. In the fall, we will start phase 2 to also integrate order processing and inventory counting directly in InStock.
