On the rostrum
Digitalization and the future of work - Henrik Asheim, Conservatives
Digitalization is changing Norwegian working life. It creates some challenges, but also gives us fantastic opportunities. It's hard to predict the future, but one thing is certain: We're going to be short of people.
We need to be able to use technology to include more people in working life and use the workforce we have smarter than today.
AI & Digitization not just more bragging rights - Andreas Dypvik Landmark, Senior Researcher Sintef
Artificial intelligence seems to be rolling into all corners of all value chains. Whether you're in manufacturing, distribution or services, a good digital foundation is central to good operations.
Leading technology or leading with technology has become more important, and in the lecture, Landmark will dive behind the buzz words digitization and Industry 4.0, and discuss concrete examples of research on digitization and digital transformations of Norwegian companies.
Is ChatGPT just for high school students who want to cheat? - Per Kristian Bjørkeng, Journalist, Aftenposten
Is ChatGPT just for high school students who want to cheat? No, it isn't. But how should we actually use it for real and important things? That's something we don't talk about enough, says Per Kristian Bjørkeng. He is the author of two books on AI and a technology journalist at Aftenposten. His book "Crack the ChatGPT code" is about how we can benefit from this powerful, fascinating and unreliable technology - without getting ourselves into trouble. He joins us to talk about how the chatbot can be used for advanced tasks such as programming without knowing how to program, or for language washing and idea bubbling.
Trends in the sports industry - Trond Evald Hansen, Norwegian Sports Industry Association
Trond Evald Hansen heads the Norwegian Sports Industry Association. Among other things, his mission is to help ensure that sports industry players have the best framework conditions for growth and profitability. In this context, it is important to understand how the sports industry is developing, so that the players in the sports industry have enough objective data to form the basis for their own strategic choices. Sales development, framework conditions, regulations, trends and much more affect the sports industry.
Torshov Sport - Ole Petter Bømark
Torshov Sport has almost 90 years of history, and strives to be the country's best specialist in football, running, hockey and club retail. Torshov Sport has four specialty stores at Torshov in Oslo, as well as stores in Tromsø, Bergen, Drammen, Sandvika Storsenter and Fredrikstad.
In connection with the establishment of a new web platform in 2020, Torshov Sport implemented the products Feed (PIM) and Instock (WMS). In 2023, ERP was implemented for the first time, again with iSYS on the team - this time in an even more central role.
In the lecture, we share experiences and reflections on the journey in recent years.
Norgesdekk - Thomas Hauge
Norgesdekk is Norway's largest independent tire and rim wholesaler, known for the country's best selection and fast deliveries.
Thomas talks about the journey Norgesdekk has had, focusing on how the implementation of Instock WMS and collaboration with ISYS has contributed to their success.
