Printing / labels

You may need many different types of labels in a warehouse.

And InStock makes it easy for you to print them with the information you need on the labels.

Prints you can get from InStock:

  • Product labels

  • Location labels

  • Parcel labels

  • Shipping label

  • Pallet labels

  • Goods receipt label

  • Content labels

  • Green declarations

  • Order label

  • Waybill

  • Packing slip

Most printing is done from the functions where they are used. E.g. printing the shipping label is done from the parcel function when picking.

The label printouts that have their own function are item and location, which can be done from the Print label function:

The printers that you can print with are set up in the web portal:

You can set up default printers from the main menu on scanners.

Press the menu button on the main page and select Printers.

There you will see a list of all the types of printing you can do.

Tap the print type you want to set the printer to and select the printer from the list.

There is also support for using QR codes to set the default printer on a scanner.

If you have a scanner set up with InStock, you can scan the QR code below.

Then the default printer for Location will be set to printer with ID 1 in your solution.

If you want to have QR codes made that are suitable for you, we can do it for you, or we can also teach you how to make them yourself. It's not difficult :)

There you choose which label, Location or Item, you want to print.
